Control LiveText
Update over UDP
Section titled “Update over UDP”LEDVIZ receives LiveText data on a continuously open UDP port. Each message starts with # followed by the tag name. A pipe character | separates the name from the new content.
#TAG1|Hello world!| Setting | Value |
|---|---|
| Protocol | UDP |
| Port | 28077 |
| Character encoding | UTF-8 |
| Message format | #TAGNAME|Text |
A received LiveText value is forwarded directly to the output, and the layer updates immediately. You can change the content repeatedly while it is being displayed.
