Your first project

You will need the pixel dimensions of your LED modules, the layout of your surfaces and a test image or video.

Selecting a sequence can also switch the connected output. Use a dedicated test setup for your first steps.

1. Create a project. Open File → Create new Project …. The wizard guides you through naming the project and setting up its video segments. Use a name that clearly identifies the installation.
2. Set up the surfaces. Enter the module dimensions and the number and arrangement that match your installation. If your advertising areas combine several modules, check that grouping too. Complete the wizard.
3. Add your first media file. Use Add Clip and select an image or video. Check the area the media occupies. Use Replace Clip to change the content of an existing position.
4. Configure the sequence. Open the sequence’s Settings. Give it a clear Title and check Duration, Repeat/Loop and Available. A sequence that is not enabled is skipped in the corresponding automatic running order.
5. Save the project. Use Save Project as … to save it for the first time. The images and videos remain linked to the project and must stay accessible.
6. Check the output and start playback. Check the placement and aspect ratio in the preview and on the intended output. Select the desired sequence, then use Play, Pause and Stop to control playback. BLACK fades the output to black.

Start with a single media file. Add more sequences once the layout, media placement and output are correct.
